Do you have the talent to perform at the O2?

Are you entertaining enough to share in a prize fund worth THOUSANDS of pounds?!

Can you prove that BRITAIN DOES VARIETY?

A nationwide hunt has begun to find Britain’s most entertaining variety acts. All sorts of performers are busy rehearsing to audition for Britain Does Variety. Acts include comedians, magicians, singers, dancers, novelty acts, impressionists, musicians, glee clubs and anyone else that can impress top industry and celebrity judges as well entertaining a live theatre audience.

Britain Does Variety is all about finding undiscovered REAL talent, across the entire nation. Auditions start in February and continue into April. Acts will audition in front of industry judges to compete for a spot in one of the regional finals, which take place in some of the UK’s best theatres with capacities up to 1,100 people!

The best variety acts from each region, as decided by the professional judging panel and the audience, will make it through to the National Grand Final in June. They’ll then have the chance to compete for various prizes including the opportunity to perform at the O2, share in a prize fund worth thousands of pounds in cash, plus a whole host of other prizes like video showreels and photo shoots.

Perhaps more importantly, representatives from some of the UK’s leading entertainment agencies will be watching for any new talent they think could take 2011 by storm and be Britain’s next big thing!

So if you’ve got the talent, register at www.britain-does-variety.co.uk now!

Hello there,

I hope you don’t mind me contacting you out of the blue.

I’m working on the second series of John Bishop’s Britain – a Saturday night entertainment show for BBC1. I’m currently contacting people and businesses all over Britain in the hope of finding unique characters to be interviewed on the show. I wondered whether you could help at all.

John Bishop’s Britain is a prime time, Saturday night BBC1 entertainment show which takes a light-hearted and humorous look at life in Britain today. The show is hosted by comedian John Bishop and incorporates the stories, opinions and experiences of ordinary people from all walks of life and from every corner of Britain . We're searching for a diverse group of interesting people to contribute their personal stories and views to the programme – from farmers to party entertainers to city bankers. The topics we’ll be looking at this year are: food, hobbies/DIY, music/fashion/shopping, friends, regional Britain and Christmas.

If you or anyone at your organisation might be interested please get in touch. We would be extremely grateful if you could help us get the message out by forwarding this email on to anyone you think might be interested.

I’ve attached the advert for the show. Anyone interested in taking part should email takepart@objectiveproductions.com. Alternatively you can contact me directly for more information.

Many thanks indeed and best wishes,

Charlotte
