London Flying Trip
The
Aerial Edge trip to the Hangar in London was a great success and we all managed to improve our flying skills with 10 hours
of training over the weekend. The Hangar provided a very warm welcome and some great tuition enabling us to cover a large
part of the beginner syllabus in a very short space of time. A big thanks to Nick and Lucy for spending the weekend with us.
I'll post the pictures and video on the site as soon as I get a chance.
Jacques
Bertrand's Silks masterclass
CONFLUX have been holding silks master
classes this week with French aerial specialist Jacques Bertrand. This was a great course with a lot of attention to detail.
Jacques has a great depth of understanding of how to perform moves with economy of movement and can even make me look good
on silk! Hopefully some of this teaching methodology will be working its way into classes near you soon :)
Other classes and shows
Meline who has been training with us while in Glasgow is in a show this month alled Bright Black
by a young Glaswegian company called Vox Motus. They opened at the Traverse and had some lovely reviews (4*s in the Herald and the Scotsman, with a great personal mention in the Stage).
The Tron 27th-31st Oct was recommended if any
of you want to get together for this one, there should be an amazing Halloween party on the last nite - apparently the Tron
are notorious for them!
