Take An Exclusive Peek At Scotland's Biggest Mall As It Opens Its Doors Today New Eco-Friendly Silverburn Retail Park Boasts 95 Stores Over Half A Mile

It promises to offer shopping heaven when it opens its doors today, but walking the half-mile from one end to the other could prove hell for your feet.

For Silverburn - Scotland's biggest shopping centre - is 13 times the size of Hampden Park's pitch and almost double that of its nearest rival.

Costing a staggering £350million to build, the retail park in Pollok on Glasgow's south side has hired more than 3000 staff to work in its 95 stores and 14 restaurants.

Urban Circus are delighted to have provided circus skills to a cast member of Scottish Opera where teaching stilt walking was a challenge to overcome for their show.

One of the worlds most popular operas, Il barbiere di Siviglia has kept audiences laughing for over 200 years. The opera sees Rossini at his most exhilarating and sparkles with wit and invention. Rossini is said to have composed the work in less than three weeks, and, despite the subject matter, claimed to have been so wrapped up in his work that he didnt even stop to shave. Il barbiere di Siviglia not only bursts with this energy and drive but also contains some of operas most memorable music, including Figaros legendary aria largo al factotum.
